Pastor Jason began pastoring at Dover Community Church in December 2022, after 25 years of full-time Pastoral ministry in Klamath Falls, OR.  Pastor Jason and his wife, Shauna, have a son, Micah, who is currently a business major studying at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. 
 

He grew up in the Rocky Mountains in the town of Victor, Colorado.  It was there that he gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1981.  In 1991, he began to walk earnestly with the Lord, and he felt called into ministry during that time.  In 1997, the Lord opened up an opportunity for him to work full-time at Mountain Lakes Bible Camp near Klamath Falls, OR.  That was the beginning of his full-time ministry work.  Pastor Jason has worked with all ages of folks, been on multiple short-term mission trips, and loves studying the Bible, preaching and teaching God's word, sharing the love of Christ, disciplining believers in the ways of Christ, and bringing glory to Jesus's name.  

In his free time, Jason enjoys hiking, traveling, coaching basketball, watching sports, flying small drones, and spending quality time with his wife and son. 

Jason is excited about pastoring at Dover Community Church.  He looks forward to getting to know the folks that come to Dover and continuing the tradition of solid, biblical teaching and the Gospel-Centered ministries of Dover.
